Snow Canyon Loses to Woods Cross in Shootout

The Warriors season came to an abrupt and emotional end today as they lost after 2 overtime periods and a shootout. Manuel Muniz had the lone goal for the warriors. At the time it gave the warriors a 1 to 0 lead with just fifteen minutes left in the game. Three minutes later Woods Cross scored on a quick kick off a free kick to tie up the game. After 2 10 minute overtime periods the score remained tied and it went to a shootout. Jake Cannon's second block was disallowed on a questionable call by the official and given a second chance Woods Cross put it in. It was a great season for the Warriors and it was a shame it had to end on such a call.
